We are looking for 5 Phenomenal Women to award in the following community sector categories:
Service & Advocacy Award
This award recognizes the non-profit service efforts of a female individual, family or family foundations’ exceptional generosity who, through direct financial and volunteer support, demonstrates outstanding civic and charitable responsibility and whose generosity encourages others to take non-profit leadership roles in the community. Candidates will specifically demonstrate significant, long-term involvement with one or more organizations.
Government & Civil Award
This award recognizes a 1st responder that has accomplished outstanding service, heroic acts, or demonstrated high personal standards and service above and beyond the call of duty.
Family & Education Award
This award recognizes any full-time teaching faculty. Faculty is strongly committed to teaching and learning. This commitment might be demonstrated through activities designed to advance the quality and practice of teaching and learning, to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and/or multicultural or special need understanding; use effective teaching strategies to enhance student learning, including, but not limited to innovative uses of technology, active learning, High-Impact Practices, and assessment; have a strong commitment to fostering the academic success of students through interaction with students outside of the classroom (e.g., family engagement, advising, mentoring, etc.).
Healthcare & Wellness Award
This award recognizes the demonstrated, sustained leadership in enhancing the acceptance, effectiveness, and accountability in the field of health & well-being, held a leadership position, in the workplace or organization has met the criteria for a healthy workplace, and affiliated with an organization that has facilitated measurable improvements in health and/or behavior change at the worksite.
Business & Corporate Award
This award recognizes a corporation or business that has created a culture of philanthropy with their organization and has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to philanthropy through its: 1) financial support of one or more nonprofit organizations, 2) leadership involvement, and 3) volunteer participation and commitment of its workforce in establishing a role model for other businesses in our community. This award recognizes a single individual representing a corporation or business, that has emphasized outstanding service amongst the community.
